According to The Political Compass, I am apparently -4.62 on the Economic Left/Right scale (read: mad raving lefty) and -0.46 on Social Libertarian/Authoritarian scale (read: confused).
I'm not sure how this happened. I have two options I suppose - I can accept that I may not be as conservative as I thought, or I can bury my head in the sand. I think I'm going to consult with some ostriches...

I saw Boris Johnson on the news last night (coverage of his bid for the London mayoral election) and he too was clutching a copy of the Guardian... I could tell because I recognised the give-away poetry booklet from the papers in the lounge at Ledbury. I was surprised. Perhaps slowly but surely a political revival is coming to our land...
I'm not sure comparisons to Boris Johnson are helpful while I go through the "denial" phase... :P
